About

Atlético Dallas Youth is the official youth club of professional side Atlético Dallas, offering a full pathway from toddler introductions through elite Select competition across North Texas and beyond. Families in Richardson and the wider Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex can choose age-appropriate programs—Little Lobos for the youngest players, Juniors for early competitive development, and Select teams that compete in ECNL, Girls Academy, NPL, RPL, and other top platforms—with supplemental training in CORE, F.A.S.T., and Friday Night Finishing.

What the club offers

Little Lobos welcomes ages 2–5 with interactive games, obstacle courses, and coordination work designed to build confidence before formal team play. Juniors serves ages 5–9 with two weekly practices, included CORE sessions, open trainings, pre-ECNL opportunities, and elite-league competition for players moving beyond recreational soccer. Select covers ages 10–18 with the club’s highest training intensity, professional coaching, league fees bundled into dues, discounted CORE access, travel competition, and rosters spread across multiple DFW and Texas divisions.

The Atlético Dallas Academy is the club’s no-cost elite development track for U9 and U10 boys—no club, league, or coaching fees. Supplemental options include College Pathway support for high-school players, international tours through WorldStrides, summer camps in Richardson, Frisco, Midlothian, Waco, and Justin, and community events open to all players. The club reports more than 2,800 active players, 100-plus staff coaches, and teams in seven regions spanning 15-plus cities and 12-plus elite leagues from Frisco and Plano to Waco and Amarillo.

Development approach

Atlético Dallas Youth emphasizes professional-level training, competitive match play, and a supportive club culture aimed at developing future champions. Leadership includes Director of Soccer Glen Waudby, Juniors Director Roderick Scott, Select coaching director Angel Cuevas, Goalkeeper Director Jimmy Stanton, and a deep bench of licensed staff with ECNL, Girls Academy, MLS NEXT, and collegiate backgrounds. CORE training stresses creativity, ownership, repetition, and expression; F.A.S.T. adds Friday agility and speed work; Friday Night Finishing sharpens scoring skills—all layered on top of team curricula rather than replacing them.

Select players compete locally, statewide, regionally, and nationally through affiliations that include ECNL, Girls Academy, NPL, and related Texas platforms. Juniors families can trial the program for two weeks before committing. Little Lobos offers a free first session so toddlers can experience the environment before enrollment.
