What the club offers

Fusion Firsts runs in an academy-style format for U6 players: Fusion FC staff lead one training session and a game each week for eight weeks at $95 per session, with registration, state insurance, and field costs bundled in the fee; new players receive a U06 shirt. The U08 Competitive Preparation Program is a full seasonal-year bridge into select-style training without tryouts—open registration—with one 75-minute indoor session per week at Griffin Elite led by a nationally licensed coach, up to four optional outdoor preseason grass sessions, Techne Futbol app access, eight NKSL recreational-league games fall and spring, and a $450 seasonal fee (uniform kit about $45 separately).

Grassroots recreational soccer serves roughly U8–U14 with fall (August–October) and spring (March–May) seasons at $75 per season, one volunteer-led practice per week, games in the Northern Kentucky Soccer League (NKSL), and about $40 for a full uniform kit when families need it; the club absorbed Erlanger/Elsmere recreational programming and now enrolls more than 330 Grassroots players annually.

Select teams use Green, Black, and White bands by developmental level (U09 is treated as Academy for pooled placement in the first select year). Player commitments cover a full seasonal year: for U9–U14, training and games typically run August–October and March–May; U15–U19 teams train and play from November through May with winter training included. Teams may progress through league paths such as KPL Academy, CPL, BPYSL, KSSL, KPL, Great Lakes Conference, and Great Lakes Alliance depending on readiness, with about two or three training sessions per week, goalkeeper training, three to five tournaments or showcases per year by age band, and Techne Futbol included. U14 and U15–U19 teams also receive Veo match and training recording. Select registration and tryout signup run through PlayMetrics.

Development philosophy

The club’s mission is to produce players who will enjoy soccer for life. Fusion FC emphasizes long-term player and coach development, a consistent training environment shaped by club philosophy with room for coaches to address team needs, and cost awareness in competitive soccer. The organization promotes a single-club culture with events that connect teams and programs rather than chasing size alone.

Where families train and play

Grassroots and CPP league games use NKSL. Select tryouts for the 2026–27 seasonal year are held at Boone County Peewee Football Field, 1 Gridiron Drive, Florence, Kentucky. Training sites vary by program and season; the club has built relationships with schools, parks, cities, counties, and businesses across Northern Kentucky to secure training and game space—families should confirm exact fields with staff when they register.

Tryouts and registration

For the 2026–27 seasonal year, U9–U18 select tryouts run May 11–May 18: girls on May 11 and May 13, boys on May 12 and May 14, and U09 Academy boys and girls on May 15 and May 18, with evening time blocks by age at the Florence tryout site. Families register for tryouts through the club’s PlayMetrics signup flow. U08 CPP uses open registration without tryouts. Grassroots and Fusion Firsts open registration by season; when a session reaches capacity the club communicates that at registration time.

Season costs and policies

Fusion Firsts is $95 per session. U08 CPP is $450 for the full seasonal year plus about $45 for the uniform kit. Grassroots is $75 per fall or spring season plus about $40 for a kit when needed.

2025–26 select player fees (full seasonal year, before mandatory uniform kit about $150 plus shipping) include: U09 Academy $1,100 with $100 deposit or eight monthly installments of $125; U10–U14 Black and White $1,300 ($200 deposit, $137.50/month); U11–U14 Green $1,400 ($200 deposit, $150/month); U15–U19 Black and White $1,200 ($200 deposit, $125/month); U15–U19 Green $1,300 ($200 deposit, $137.50/month). Deposits are non-refundable. Leaving after the seasonal year begins (August 1) can trigger at least half the seasonal fee plus a $150 early-exit fee; leaving after January 31 may require payment of the full seasonal fee. Extra team costs can include winter indoor training, performance training, and reasonable coach hotel expenses on travel tournaments.
