What youth soccer programs does Milwaukee Sport Club run?MSC offers Mikro introductory soccer for young children through its Milwaukee Kickers partnership at Menomonee Falls MSC sites, an in-house U6 Futures training program, recreational teams from U7 through U15, academy soccer for U8–U10 with staff coaches, and select teams from U11 upward as the club’s top competitive tier.

About
Milwaukee Sport Club Soccer aims to give youth players of every age and experience level high-quality soccer, with a home base in Menomonee Falls and open arms to families from the surrounding Milwaukee area. MSC welcomes families into its MSC Family community and runs a full ladder from introductory Mikro soccer through competitive select teams.
Program ladder and coaching model
Mikro serves roughly ages three through five (some six-year-olds when space allows) through a partnership with Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club; families choose the Menomonee Falls MSC location when registering. The U6 Futures program keeps training in-house among MSC players with no league games against other towns, led by MSC staff coach Fred Hostetler on Monday evenings in fall and spring. Recreational soccer spans U7 through U15 with volunteer coaches—usually parents—focused on fun, skills, and character. Academy covers U8–U10 with paid MSC staff coaching and a heavier training and travel load meant to prepare players for select. Select teams from U11 upward are the club’s highest competitive tier, with paid staff coaches and regional and state league play aimed at athletes targeting high school soccer and beyond.
Season rhythm, rosters, and how families join
Youth teams are built each summer; practices begin in August, fall games start after that, and the club year wraps when spring ends in June. MSC caps roster sizes to protect the experience for every player. After summer formation, the club still tries to place interested players on existing teams in spring and can stand up new spring teams when enough players and coaches commit. When a direct spot is not open, families can join a wait list through PlayMetrics registration tied to Futures, recreational, academy, or select tryout flows.
Tryouts and registration paths
Select families enter through the dedicated tryout signup in PlayMetrics. Academy and recreational registration also flow through PlayMetrics with distinct program links. Futures shares the recreational program’s registration channel in PlayMetrics. Mikro registration runs through Milwaukee Kickers at mksc.org/programs/mikro, and families need to choose the Menomonee Falls MSC location during that signup.
Where recreational teams train and play
Recreational practices rotate among Menomonee Falls Valley View Elementary School, Menomonee Falls High School, and Menomonee Falls North Middle School, with volunteer coaches choosing weekday practice nights. U7 and U8 teams typically practice once per week; U9 and older usually practice twice. Home games center on the Menomonee Falls High School Soccer Complex, while away games visit neighboring clubs such as Germantown, Wauwatosa, Whitefish Bay, Nicolet, Milwaukee, Muskego, and Mukwonago. Most weekends bring one match, sometimes two, with eight fall games and eight spring games. Every rec player receives an MSC jersey plus black shorts and black socks at no extra uniform charge.
Fees, uniforms, and volunteering
For the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 cycle, academy tuition runs $480 for U8, $620 for U9, and $720 for U10, with fees rising $20 in July and another $40 in August; a $95 volunteer buyout sits inside those totals and can be refunded after volunteer duties are completed. Spring-only academy pricing is $281 for U8, $340 for U9, and $390 for U10 when roster space exists on fall-formed teams. Recreational fees are $200 for U7/U8, $260 for U9/U10, and $315 for U11 and older, with the same July and August increases; spring-only rec is $160, $190, and $235 respectively by band. Rec soccer does not add a separate volunteer buyout—the club asks families to coach, assist, line fields, and help in other roles. U6 Futures costs $140 for the full year or $110 for a half year and includes an MSC training shirt. Mikro registration is $100 with a $15 increase as sessions near kickoff, includes a Mikro jersey, and offers an optional ball purchase during signup.
