What ages and program levels does Nevada Alliance Soccer League offer? The league registers U6 through U14 divisions, roughly ages four through fourteen. Depending on numbers, each age group can offer recreational and developmental divisions: recreational suits beginners through intermediate players, while developmental suits returning teams or individuals wanting a bit more competitive structure. If two divisions are not viable, everyone plays in a single recreational-leaning division.
Where does the league train and play?Henderson teams use Silver Bowl Park near Boulder Highway and Russell. Southwest teams use Desert Breeze Park near Durango and Spring Mountain. Games are on Saturdays. Practices use league park permits Monday–Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and share Saturday windows with games from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; coaches pick actual practice slots after rosters form, and teams practicing outside permitted parks or times may not be covered by player insurance.
When does registration run for spring and fall? The league runs two seasons per year, spring and fall. Spring registration typically opens in late November or early December, with late registration around mid-February and the season starting in late March or early April. Fall registration typically opens in late May or early June, with late registration around mid-August and play starting in mid-to-late September. Exact open and close dates change each season; families should watch youthsoccerlv.org, league email, and the league’s social updates for the current calendar.
What does registration cost?Standard pricing is $135 before the late-registration period, $155 during late registration, and $165 on the waiting list after registration closes. When late registration begins, the fee is $20 higher than the on-time rate; after registration closes, another $10 increase applies for waiting-list signup. Families invited off the waiting list receive a code and have 24 hours to complete registration before the league moves to the next name.
What does a season fee cover?Registration covers a full uniform, referee fees, field permits, player insurance, clinics for players and coaches, awards, playoffs with trophies for qualifying teams, and handling of teammate requests when entered on the form. Families still buy cleats, shin guards, a ball, water, and practice socks.
How does the league approach coaching and mission?Nevada Alliance is a nonprofit recreational and developmental league with volunteer coaches who are treated as an extension of the league. Referees are hired by the league. The program emphasizes fundamentals and fair play for beginner-to-intermediate players rather than elite travel-club competition.
