What the club offers

Recreation welcomes players from about ages 2 through 12 in a co-ed, birth-year–based structure built around fun, exercise, and fundamentals. The recreational calendar runs in four seasonal blocks over the year (Fall, Fall 2, Winter, and Spring). One recent Spring block ran eight weeks from late March through mid-May; practice and game times vary by age band, with Saturday games for most older recreational groups at Osprey Park in Hunter's Creek.

Premier soccer targets athletes who want to push their game with a player-first model: technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development on a pathway toward each player’s potential. Staff place athletes into team tiers after Premier tryouts ahead of each season, matching developmental stage, projected ability, and commitment to the competitive calendar for that tier. The club connects its own programming to local, state, and national opportunities where applicable, and athletes follow the Premier code of conduct.

HCSC also runs camps and maintains a TOPSoccer option in its volunteer ecosystem for adapted community play.

Where teams train and play

Tryouts, placement, and registration

Premier roster decisions and tier assignments follow tryouts before each competitive season. Families interested in UPSL-related tryout windows can follow the club’s TeamSnap tryout intake alongside other registration links the club maintains.

Fees families should plan for

Recreation uses a per-season fee model that combines a registration charge with monthly installments during the active months of that block. For one recent Spring block (April and May), registration was $39 across age bands, with monthly rates of $19 for the youngest birth-year group, $35 for the next band, and $95 per month for older 2014–2019 birth years—always confirm the current season’s form for the player’s birth year.

Premier pricing is bundled to cover league registration, club administration, field use, league referees, club training, and tournament entry in the all-in season totals given for each age band. Boys U8–U10 (2017–2015 birth years) start at $140 per month for 11 monthly payments plus a $99 registration fee ($1,639 total at those starting rates); boys U11–U12 start at $155 monthly with the same registration structure ($1,804 total); boys U13–U18/19 start at $165 monthly ($1,914 total). Girls U8–U10 start at $100 monthly ($1,299 total); girls U11–U12 start at $110 monthly ($1,419 total); girls U13–U18/19 start at $120 monthly ($1,539 total). Earlier registration lowers the monthly installment within each band. Competitive uniforms (primary, secondary, and practice kits via the club’s soccer.com partner) are purchased separately on about a two-year replacement cycle for the package, with individual pieces replaceable as needed.

Mission and coaching approach

HCSC grew from a resident-led recreational start into a club that still foregrounds community and family while investing in professional staffing and curriculum from its technical leadership. Coaches aim to motivate through respect and honesty, encourage players to think on the field, and tie success to habit-building and personal accountability.
