What ages and program levels does Park City Soccer Club offer?Competitive programming covers birth years 2017 and older (U9–U19) and Foundations serves birth years 2018 through 2020 on the introductory pathway (U6–U8). Competitive teams train year-round with UYSA league play in fall and spring, futsal in winter, and tournament play. Foundations runs two practices per week across summer/fall and spring blocks with 4v4 games and no tryout requirement for entry.

About
Park City Soccer Club is a Utah youth soccer organization that emphasizes whole-athlete development and excellence on and off the field. Programming spans introductory Foundations for young players through year-round competitive teams that train and compete under Utah Youth Soccer Association rules and league structures.
Competitive program
The competitive track serves players from roughly U9 through U19 (birth-year teams aligned with UYSA and US Youth Soccer, not school grade as the primary team-building rule). Summer includes specialized, pool, age-group, team, and drop-in training plus a pre-season Kickoff Camp. Fall and spring league play runs through UYSA game leagues; winter adds futsal league training. Teams also enter local and regional tournaments. Within each gender and birth year, the club fields a Red, White, and sometimes Silver hierarchy. Formats progress from X-League 7v7 at U9–U10 to Comp League 9v9 at U11–U12 and 11v11 from U13–U14; high-school-age U15–U19 teams follow nine-month schedules with fees prorated to match the model.
Foundations
Foundations is an eight-month introduction for players roughly five through seven years old on the pathway toward U9 state competitive leagues. Training runs twice weekly (July–October and February–May) with small-sided 4v4 games in Park City and Midvale. The curriculum follows U.S. Soccer’s Play-Practice-Play model. The program is not tryout-based, though the club recommends late-May Player Placements for grouping and meeting staff; enrollment stays open when coach-to-player ratios allow, with a waitlist when capacity is reached.
Player Placements and registration
Each cycle, Player Placements over two sessions on two days in late May place returning and new players. For the 2026–27 season, the club schedules placements the week of May 18, 2026 for players entering grades 3–6 in fall 2026, May 26–28, 2026 for grades 7–12, and a kindergarten–grade 2 introduction on May 29, 2026. Pre-registration is free and opens May 1 through 11:00 a.m. on each placement day; walk-ups are accepted but may miss opening instructions. All players, including returners, must be evaluated before roster assignment. About two days after placements end, families can look up results on parkcitysoccer.org by player number, team, and birth year. Players who cannot attend must pre-register, note the absence, and follow club guidance for a makeup evaluation with the technical director and coaching staff.
Fees, uniforms, and family commitments
Competitive program fees vary by age and competitive level; annual fee tables follow board approval each year. PCSC program fees may be paid in full or in three installments (June, August, October), with a one-time forty-dollar payment-plan fee; some families may arrange a ten-month plan. Utah Youth Soccer Association registration is paid separately and is required before training or games; UYSA dues run from about nine dollars for U8 and under up to about one hundred two dollars for comp-level teams. Families with players U9 and older complete fifteen volunteer hours per family; unmet hours can trigger a five-hundred-dollar refundable work deposit invoiced with a fall due date. Uniforms are ordered through Soccer.com on a two-year cycle. Tournament entry, coach travel, and personal travel are generally additional to program fees, except the late-July Park City Extreme Cup is usually bundled differently for competitive teams; teams typically plan multiple local tournaments and some travel or state-level events each year.
Training locations and camps
The club partners with Basin Recreation, Park City Recreation, and schools. Outdoor training and games commonly use Park City Sports Complex (Quinn’s), Trailside Park and Trailside Elementary, Willow Creek Park, North 40 fields, Matt Knoop Memorial Park, and Ecker Hill Middle School. Indoor and futsal work uses sites such as Timpanogos Middle School in Heber, the Basin Recreation Fieldhouse, the PC MARC, and school gyms. Each June the club partners with one.Soccer Schools for a week-long day camp; a recent schedule included a camp at Park City Sports Complex June 23–27, 2025.
Age-group alignment and pathways
Player ages follow U.S. Youth Soccer’s school-year (August 1–July 31) birth-date groupings, with placement philosophy, play-up discretion by the technical director and coaching leadership, and multi-age tryouts only with prior director approval. Financial aid is need-based and reviewed separately from placements; the registrar handles payment questions and extended plans.

Where does the club train and play?Outdoor sessions commonly use Park City Sports Complex (Quinn’s), Trailside Park, Trailside Elementary, Willow Creek Park, North 40 fields behind Treasure Mountain Junior High, Matt Knoop Memorial Park, and Ecker Hill Middle School. Indoor and futsal training uses Timpanogos Middle School in Heber, the Basin Recreation Fieldhouse, the PC MARC, and elementary school gyms. The club does not operate a single dedicated facility and partners with Basin Recreation, Park City Recreation, and schools.
How do Player Placements and pre-registration work?Placements are two-day, two-session evaluations in late May for team formation. For 2026–27, placements run May 18–21, 2026 for players entering grades 3–6 in fall 2026, May 26–28, 2026 for grades 7–12, and May 29, 2026 for kindergarten through second grade. What are Foundations program fees and uniform costs?Foundations pay-in-full runs six hundred seventy-five dollars including a sixty-dollar administrative fee, or three installments with a forty-dollar payment-plan fee added to the first installment. A U6 seasonal option runs summer/fall at four hundred ten dollars and winter/spring at three hundred twenty-five dollars, each including the sixty-dollar admin fee. Utah Youth Soccer registration for Foundations is a ten-dollar one-time fee, and the foundation uniform kit runs about one hundred dollars for two jerseys, shorts, and socks. Limited scholarships are available through foundations@parkcitysoccer.org.
What should families expect to pay beyond program fees?PCSC program fees depend on age and level and reset each year after board approval. Payment plans for PCSC fees add a one-time forty-dollar fee. Families with U9+ players owe fifteen volunteer hours per family or may face a five-hundred-dollar refundable work deposit. What is the club’s philosophy? The club builds community through whole-athlete development and a passionate pursuit of excellence on and off the pitch. Foundations emphasizes fun, inclusion, and safety while preparing players for competitive soccer.
