What ages and program levels does Rock Springs Avengers offer?Recreational soccer serves children ages 3 through 14 with no skill prerequisite and volunteer-led practices and games. Competitive soccer targets players ages 7 through 18 who want evaluations, Utah League competition for many teams, and a seasonal year from August 1 through mid-July split into fall and spring playing seasons. The club also runs a summer adult league for ages 16 and older and hosts The Rock Challenge tournament for competitive U8 through U18 teams each September.

When are competitive evaluations and registration?Fall evaluations run between June 10 and July 1, with fall registration open June 1 through June 10. Spring evaluations happen in November as needed for open roster spots. Competitive fall registration is May 20 through June 15, and spring registration is November 3 through January 3. Players accepted at fall evaluations stay with the club for the full seasonal year but must register separately for each fall and spring playing season through GotSport.

How much does competitive spring soccer cost?Spring competitive registration is $240 for U8 and $290 for U10 and older, including spring insurance and three spring tournaments. Ninth grade and up have the player bond waived at checkout. An alternate option costs $125 plus $55 per tournament attended. Utah League fees are paid separately, uniforms are extra, and only credit or debit cards are accepted for club registration.

What uniforms do competitive players need?Competitive players purchase three jerseys, three shorts, and three sock pairs, available as a bundle through the club’s Challenger Teamwear team store. Returning athletes reorder using the same jersey number assigned previously; new players contact the club for a number before buying. Fan gear is also sold separately with promotional codes the club shares seasonally.

What is The Rock Challenge tournament?The Rock Challenge is an annual September tournament hosted by the competitive division for travel teams ages U8 through U18. Games take place at Crossroads West Park, 744 Gookin-White Mountain Road, Rock Springs, reachable from Foothill Boulevard via Clearview Drive to White Mountain Road.
