What the club offers

In-town recreation centers on the DeCou Sports Complex, with club-provided group training and a Saturday–Sunday rhythm that shifts by season (fall Saturday games and spring Sunday home games in recent spring cycles). Co-ed recreation runs about U4 through U6; girls and boys recreation continue through about U14, and high-school friendship leagues serve U14 and older with home-area play in Cherry Hill and Marlton. The U7 Travel Prep Academy is a supplemental Friday evening track on DeCou turf for recreation-registered U7 players, adding about twenty-four one-hour sessions across the year, technical and small-sided work, an introduction to 7v7, and a full academy kit plus ball.

Competitive travel is a fall-and-spring commitment for most youth bands. Boys roughly U8 through U14 and girls roughly U8 through U14 play both fall and spring, with girls’ league games commonly on Saturdays and boys’ on Sundays in many youth travel bands; U15 and older boys and girls typically play a spring season with Sunday league games. New Jersey age rules apply, and U7 players are not eligible for travel. League footprints include the South Jersey Soccer League, South Jersey Girls Soccer League, EDP, MAPS, and JAGS depending on team placement. Club-approved trainers can supplement team training, with club funding available toward trainer costs; families and teams budget tournaments separately.

Junior Premier and Premier travel

Junior Premier targets serious travel players from about U8 through U12 with two training sessions per week, periodic combined academy-style blocks, 7v7 and 9v9 league play on weekends, and up to five tournaments plus USYS State Cup when age-appropriate. Away league travel commonly stays within about ninety minutes of Cherry Hill. Club tuition is $1,225 for that level, including US Club passes and facility-related items, with $425 due when a player accepts a roster offer and a payment plan for the balance; winter, summer, and uniform costs sit outside that figure.

Premier serves about U13 through U18 as the club’s top travel band: two weekly trainings with combined premier blocks at selected times of year, EDP 11v11 league play, up to six tournaments across EDP, local, and regional levels plus USYS State Cup, and the same rough ninety-minute away radius for many league trips. Tuition is $1,575 with $600 due on acceptance and installment options for the remainder; uniforms and optional winter or summer programming are extra.

The board forms Junior Premier and Premier teams by birth year after tryouts and may consider additional parent-coached travel teams in local leagues only after those primary teams are set, without guaranteeing extra rosters.

Recreation registration, fees, and discounts

Spring 2026 recreation opened with home games on Sundays at the DeCou Sports Complex and an eight-week game season for tots and SJRSL-based divisions, including home-and-away work for many U9–U15 groups plus a spring tournament in that pathway. Discounted early online registration ran through January 26 before standard rates, with non-refundable player fees during that early-registration window: Parent–Tot U4 $100, U5–U6 $110 each, U7 through U15 $125, and high school $80. The fourth and fifth children in a household receive half off the youngest sibling’s fee after online signup when families email the recreation director the names and birthdates using the subject-line pattern explained during TeamSnap signup.

Development training and camps

Spring developmental (IDP-style) sessions welcome Cherry Hill FC players and outside players at the DeCou Complex on Friday evenings, with a club training jersey included; recent cycles used eight sessions from 6:00–7:00 p.m. for birth years around 2014–2018 at $100 for rostered club players and $125 for non-club players when that block was offered. Seasonal camps and the CHFC Summer Classic tournament (for example late May multi-day weekends) add extra touches; Soccer Post in Cherry Hill extends a 10% discount to Cherry Hill FC players who identify themselves at purchase, and fan or extra kit is available through the club’s soccer.com store.

Tryouts and the 2026–27 seasonal year

U.S. youth soccer’s shift to an August 1–July 31 seasonal year affects 2026–27 assignments; players register for tryouts in the age grouping the club assigns for that calendar. Travel and premier hopefuls complete the club’s Google Form tryout registration for the current cycle, then attend scheduled evaluations.
