What the club offers

Jr Academy welcomes boys and girls from roughly U3 through U11, including a parent-and-child track for birth years 2022–2024 where caregivers join on the field under professional guidance. Sessions run year-round in seasonal blocks at Good Templar Park outdoors and indoor facilities in St. Charles and West Chicago, with pricing typically $125–$299 per eight- to ten-week session outdoors or indoors and a separate parent program band around $125–$160 per session. Players practice and play in small-sided formats with grouping by skill first, then gender and age, and can advance into CSA travel teams after Jr Academy.

Elite travel soccer spans U7 through U19 with two to three teams at many age groups—the largest elite youth footprint in the Fox Valley area. The full-year elite cycle runs from mid-August through mid-June with professional coaches, USSF age-appropriate curriculum, about eight league games per fall, winter, and spring season, two to three practices per week outdoors and indoors, two to three tournaments annually, team camp before fall, weekly footskills and core performance in fall and spring, goalkeeper training multiple times per week, player evaluations, Techne at-home training, and one included summer camp. Teams compete in Pre-ECNL, ECNL RL, N1, NISL, YSSL, IWSL, and related divisions depending on age and gender.

High school programming (U15–U19) emphasizes readiness for school teams and college pathways, including boys ECNL RL at U15–U19, showcase and college-recruitment support through SportsRecruits, Veo game recording, a college recruitment director, Exact Sports ID showcase discounts, and seasonal training plans that scale from two to three sessions per week with state cup, NPL, MWC, and showcase calendars. Summer options include men's league play plus CSA juniors and seniors on a UPSL semi-pro team. Specialty add-ons include eight-week footskills, goalkeeper, core performance, speed and agility, and futsal academies, plus summer and winter camps and MWPL professional-team exposure for aspiring pros.

Development approach

CSA was founded to raise the standard for Fox Valley player development. The mission centers on professionalism, ball mastery, and teamwork through innovative training that grows technical, physical, tactical, and personal skills together. Jr Academy follows a "3 C's" model—creativity, confidence, and composure—with licensed coaches using positive reinforcement, guided discovery, and small-sided games so athletes gain touches in every position. Elite and high school coaches prioritize individual growth within strong team culture while placing players in competitive environments matched to their level.

Tryouts, commitment, and costs

Travel soccer is selective: families may attend tryouts throughout the year, but roster spots are earned and playing time is not guaranteed. Players re-tryout annually to keep a travel roster spot, and year-round attendance and financial commitment are expected. New players complete tryout registration, meet with a coach for evaluation at a practice or tryout window, receive placement by email, pay a roster deposit to confirm, then receive uniform and schedule details. Supplemental tryout windows and spring schedules are announced seasonally; evaluations use Good Templar Park in Geneva and St. Charles Sportsplex. Elite uniform packages for new players are estimated around $350 every two years (2025–2027 cycle) and include jerseys, shorts, socks, hoodie, and backpack for first-year players; high school uniform packages are estimated around $250 on the same two-year cycle.

Primary outdoor training and games are at Good Templar Park, 528 East Side Drive, Geneva, IL 60134. Indoor training uses St. Charles Sportsplex at 1400 Foundry Road, St. Charles, IL 60174 and West Chicago Sportsplex at 551 W Roosevelt Road, West Chicago, IL 60185. Additional outdoor sites include East Side Sportsplex in St. Charles, Thompson Middle School turf, James O'Breen Park in Campton Hills, Elgin Sports Complex, and Stuart Sports Complex in Montgomery. Service areas span Kane, DuPage, and Cook counties with community pages across the Fox Valley.
