What the club offers

Lion Cubs introduces toddlers and preschoolers (about 18 months through 4 years) to soccer through short, parent-involved sessions focused on movement, balance, coordination, and basic ball comfort; equipment is provided and sessions run about 45 minutes in seasonal blocks at the complex.

OSS Seminole Recreation serves birth years 2012 through 2021 with coed programming built around one weekly training night and one game night, age-appropriate fundamentals, teamwork, and a supportive tone. Families order recreational uniforms through the Orlando City recreational collection at team10soccer.com for home delivery. The club also recruits volunteer coaches for the recreational pathway.

Competitive programming spans boys and girls from roughly U8/U9 through U19. Younger “Futures” groups can begin in the in-house league at the complex before moving into Gulf Coast Florida (GCF) play when ready. Boys U9–U10 and girls U9–U10 focus on foundations in CFPL and GCF; Pre MLS (boys U11–U12) and Pre ECNL (girls U11–U12) use a 9v9 model with CFPL, FAL (boys), and GCF pathways. Older boys U13–U19 access MLS Next Homegrown and Academy divisions, National Academy League (NAL) Florida play, and GCF, with MLS Next–track teams training at least four days weekly and a league slate of at least 26 games across Florida, plus college showcase expectations from U15 upward for eligible groups. Older girls U13–U19 train and compete in ECNL, ECNL Regional League, and GCF channels. The broader player community includes more than 2,000 athletes and more than 50 competitive teams, and alumni outcomes tied to the program include more than 200 college commitments and eight professional alumni.

Tryouts, placement, and registration

Lion Cubs and OSS Seminole Recreation enroll through PlayMetrics, with seasonal signup tied to each program’s active registration window. Recreational seasons use Monday practices and Friday games with staggered practice and game times by birth-year band (for example, 4:30, 5:30, or 6:30 p.m. slots in a recent winter cycle).

Competitive placement and team interest for boys and girls academy tracks move through the club’s contact flow and “Find Your Team” requests so staff can schedule evaluations, explain roster openings, and share the next steps for each age group.

Community, integrity, teamwork, and personal growth sit alongside on-field development. The competitive side stresses multiple teams per age group, professional and licensed coaching at higher tracks, league exposure in Florida and beyond, and pathways for players who want to pursue college or professional opportunities while still supporting a wide range of skill levels.
