Little Kickers welcomes players roughly ages 3 through 7 for fun, fundamentals, and community-centered soccer. The club runs multiple Little Kickers seasons each year; a recent cycle trained Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:15 p.m. with Saturday morning games from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m., giving young children a predictable weekly rhythm without full travel demands.

Pre-MLS NEXT serves roughly ages 7 through 11 with player-specific plans, bio-banded age groups, and a competitive atmosphere designed to stretch technical and tactical growth. The club describes international travel opportunities that pit its academy players against strong academies abroad, which signals ambition beyond local league play.

MLS NEXT teams cover roughly ages 12 through 14 inside Major League Soccer's elite youth platform. Southern States positions itself as Mississippi's MLS NEXT representative, giving athletes access to high-level league competition, college exposure, and a development network tied to professional pathways across North America.

Coaching, facilities, and training model

Instruction comes from coaches who have played or coached across multiple levels of the American game, with staff emphasizing versatile, player-specific training rather than one-size-fits-all drills. Training is centered at The Oakes Training Facility on Old Highway 11 in the Hattiesburg area, which the club describes as a state-of-the-art campus modeled after standout soccer venues worldwide and still expanding.
