MLS GO recreational soccer (ages 3–14)

BattleBorn FC operates MLS GO, Major League Soccer’s official youth recreational program in Northern Nevada. The league serves players ages 3 through 14 with an emphasis on fun first, then steady progress. The club’s formula is Skill + Knowledge = Confidence: coaches teach ball skills and game awareness so young athletes gain confidence before results matter.

MLS GO sessions include parent involvement—moms, dads, grandparents, and older siblings are welcome in side training so families learn the game together. Registration includes an MLS-branded team uniform, coaching, fields, and equipment. Fall seasons typically run two weeks of preseason skill work plus eight weeks of training and game situations, usually on Saturdays or Sundays at Whites Creek Park (2525 Killington Dr, Reno, NV 89511). Spring seasons follow a similar ten-week model with preseason held at Golden Eagle Sports Complex in Sparks when outdoor fields open early.

Youth competitive and pre-competitive teams

For athletes who want more training volume and team structure, BattleBorn FC runs competitive and pre-competitive fall programs for players born between 2009 and 2018. These teams train three times per week—two midweek evening sessions and one weekend session—with training split between Whites Creek Park in Reno and Shadow Mountain. Coaches prepare rosters for league games, tournaments, and exhibitions.

Fall competitive registration is $150 per month for three months ($450 total). The fee covers uniform, field time, equipment, coaching, training, and administrative support. An optional BattleBorn FC backpack adds $35. Families complete registration through Demosphere and pay the first month’s dues to finalize placement. Late joiners are still encouraged to apply even after formal placement windows pass.

Private training and supplemental development

Individual, small-group (2–6 players), and team private training is available for players who want extra work beyond their team schedule. Sessions are led by first-team athletes and experienced youth coaches, with flexible scheduling and locations. Options include single sessions and four-session packages, with game evaluation included in some four-session plans for club and non-club players.

Pathway, philosophy, and club culture

BattleBorn FC treats soccer as a vehicle for life skills—teamwork, accountability, passion, integrity, and heart are core club values. The organization runs a ladder from recreational MLS GO through youth competitive teams, elite academy programming, reserve sides, and men’s and women’s first teams that compete in national leagues including UPSL and NISA Nation. The men’s side has reached the U.S. Open Cup fourth round as Nevada’s representative, and the club points to college scholarships, Olympic Development Program placements, and professional opportunities abroad as outcomes for developed players.

The club is building a dedicated sports complex with FIFA-approved turf, grandstand seating, and year-round operations intended to become the home base for Northern Nevada soccer culture.

How to join

MLS GO families register through the club’s MLS GO enrollment flow. Competitive players submit the fall competitive application form. Private training requests go through the private training registration form.
