What the club offers

Fall and spring recreational seasons welcome players from about ages 4 through 18. Recreational teams are coached by volunteers and parent coaches with an emphasis on fun, skill growth, and sportsmanship inside a learn-through-play approach. Younger recreational groups typically practice once per week as a team and play eight Saturday games at GSA, while other recreational age bands practice twice weekly using age-appropriate session plans aligned with U.S. Soccer curriculum guidance. Teams regularly compete in Capital Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA) fall and spring play.

Force FC Academy focuses on players roughly ages 7 through 10 who want a developmental bridge toward competitive soccer, building technical skill and game understanding before select placement. Force FC Select serves ages 10 through 18 with travel-style competitive teams that train and compete at higher intensity. The club also offers free Force FC technical training sessions aimed at sharpening first touch and speed of play. Summer camps sit alongside recreation and competitive tracks for families looking for seasonal options.

Mission, coaching, and player development

GSA aims to help players reach their potential on the field and in life. The association recruits and retains committed coaches who hold U.S. Soccer Federation licenses and who stress not only soccer technique but also teamwork, sportsmanship, and other life skills that carry beyond match day.

Where practices and games happen

The GSA soccer complex and Ray Thomas Jr. Fields are located at 2101 South Maple Street, Georgetown, TX 78626. That address anchors Saturday recreational games, training sessions, and many competitive activities; families should confirm field assignments when more than one pitch is in use. Tryouts, registration, and competitive pathways

Select tryouts require advance registration, and new and returning select players must sign up through GotSport when tryout windows open. Space can be limited, so early registration is encouraged. The boys director of coaching and the girls director of coaching handle tryout questions by phone, text, or email. Players who miss a scheduled tryout band—for example under-11 select born in 2015—can contact staff to arrange an individual evaluation instead of waiting an entire year.

Recreation, academy, select interest, summer camp questions, and volunteer inquiries can start through the Join the Club contact flow or the general administration inbox. Voicemail is available on the main club phone, though email is often the fastest route for administrative questions.
