What ages and program levels does Nevada Alliance Soccer League offer? The league registers U6 through U14 divisions, roughly ages four through fourteen. Depending on numbers, each age group can offer recreational and developmental divisions: recreational suits beginners through intermediate players, while developmental suits returning teams or individuals wanting a bit more competitive structure. If two divisions are not viable, everyone plays in a single recreational-leaning division.

About
Nevada Alliance Soccer League, often branded Alliance Youth Soccer, is a nonprofit co-ed recreational and developmental youth soccer league serving the Las Vegas area. The league relies on a small part-time staff; coaches are volunteers who set practice times and locations for their teams. Programming is built for beginner through intermediate play—scores and standings are kept (except in U6), but the league is not an elite club organization.
What families can join
Age groups run from U6 through U14, covering roughly ages four through fourteen. Players may play up a division but not down; division placement follows date of birth. Depending on enrollment, each age band can split into recreational and developmental divisions chosen during registration: recreational suits beginners through intermediate players on new or mixed teams, while developmental suits teams that have played together or individuals wanting a bit more structure. If numbers do not support two divisions, the league combines players into one division and defaults placement to recreational.
Games, fields, and weekly rhythm
Two regions register separately: Henderson Alliance uses Silver Bowl Park (Boulder Highway and Russell area), and Southwest Alliance uses Desert Breeze Park (Durango and Spring Mountain area). Games are on Saturdays, with occasional weeknight games when parks schedule special events. The league targets about eight to ten games across a ten-to-fourteen-week season, plus playoff rounds for qualifying teams; weather, permits, or other issues can reduce the number of games. Game cancellations can follow county park closures, lightning in the valley, winds over twenty-five miles per hour, or heavy rain.
Park permits cover Monday–Friday practice windows from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday game blocks from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; teams practicing outside permitted times or parks may fall outside player insurance coverage. Practice days and times are decided by each volunteer coach after rosters are built, and the league does not honor practice-day requests or guarantee schedule changes when practice times conflict with family calendars. A thirty-dollar team-change fee applies when a move is possible after deadlines.
Registration, fees, and what is included
Registration is online. Standard pricing is one hundred thirty-five dollars before the late-registration period, one hundred fifty-five dollars during late registration, and one hundred sixty-five dollars for the waiting list after registration closes. Late registration usually opens about a month before the season starts; spring seasons typically begin in March and fall seasons in September, with exact dates announced each cycle. After registration closes, the waiting list can draw more than a hundred players; selected families receive a code with a short window to complete signup. Head coaches receive free player registration when they register through the coach path.
Registration includes a full uniform (jersey, shorts, socks), referee fees, field permits, player insurance, player and coach clinics, awards, playoffs with trophies for qualifying teams, and team-request handling when noted on the form. Families still supply cleats, shin guards, a ball, water, and practice socks. Full refunds are available only until twenty-one days before the originally scheduled first game, with a five-dollar processing deduction; later requests are case-by-case and usually partial, and refunds are not granted for practice-time conflicts or after ninety days from purchase.
Playoffs and awards
The top four teams in each age division within each region reach regional quarter-finals. Henderson quarter-final winners travel to the Southwest region for semi-finals and championships at Desert Breeze. U6 and U8 players receive end-of-season medals (with trophy exceptions for U8 division playoff champions). U10, U12, and U14 teams receive three individual trophies per team for coach-selected sportsmanship, most improved, and MVP honors rather than participation medals for everyone.
