About

Nevada Rush is a Las Vegas youth soccer club within the global Rush Soccer network, serving boys and girls from first touches through college-prep competition. Programming spans JM Soccer Academy for the youngest players, a Competitive division for skill-focused league play, and Nevada Rush Academy—the club’s highest pathway with SWPL competition, college recruiting support, and integrated strength and video work. Families register through 360Player, and staff place athletes by age, ability, and long-term goals rather than a single one-size roster.

Programs and age pathways

JM Soccer Academy targets boys and girls born between August 1, 2016 and July 31, 2023 (roughly U4 through U10). The academy emphasizes individual development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth in a structured environment for players just starting or ready to grow beyond introductory sessions.

Nevada Rush Competitive serves players born August 1, 2007 through July 31, 2016 who want more intensive training under professional coaching. Teams train regularly to sharpen technical skills and tactical understanding of Rush-style play.

Nevada Rush Academy is the elite pathway for players born August 1, 2007 through July 31, 2012, with younger athletes considered when evaluations show readiness. Academy training runs three sessions per week on technical, tactical, and team concepts, plus monthly college-focused and video-analysis blocks, strength and conditioning through partner coaches, and flexible roster movement based on performance and commitment.

Through a Rush Soccer partnership, Super Soccer Stars introduces children ages 12 months through 5 years to movement, ball awareness, and confidence in parent-participation and progressive class formats.

Competitive division

Competitive players join a goal-oriented environment with experienced coaches who stress development within Rush’s player-centered model. New athletes may enter at any time: those not registered elsewhere can train with an age-group squad for developmental placement, while players currently rostered with another club need a written release or must wait until the next tryout window to transfer.

Annual tryouts typically run in late May and early June, but coaches also evaluate players throughout the season at training and matches. Formal evaluations occur in December and April, followed by staff meetings to review progress and set individualized next steps. Head coaches and the director of coaching may recommend moving a player between Nevada Rush teams when the current level no longer matches ability or challenge needs.

Academy pathway and league play

Academy selection signals the club’s belief that a player can compete at Nevada Rush’s highest levels. Selected athletes commit to consistent training attendance, professional conduct on and off the field, academic responsibility, and openness to demanding feedback.

The primary Academy roster competes in the top division of the Southern Nevada Premier League (SWPL) against strong opposition that includes former professional and collegiate players, preparing athletes for college-level competition. When numbers allow, a second Academy team enters the second division to balance playing time and competition. Each Academy player receives individualized feedback and a development plan with measurable checkpoints.

Academy fees cover registration, secondary insurance, field rentals, College Advisory Program access, two college nights and two video analysis nights per month, a Productive Recruit college profile account, mental health coaching, strength and conditioning through New Era Performance and Recovery, Rush Soccer Development resources, Train @ Home programming, and monthly coach fees. League fees, tournament fees, uniform purchases, and other team expenses are billed separately; game-day kits are provided for matches and returned afterward.

Grant Vermillion serves as technical director for the Academy program.

Registration fees and family policies

For the 2026–27 season, Competitive registration is a $350 one-time fee plus $95 per month across eleven payments from July 1, 2026 through May 1, 2027. Academy registration is a $550 one-time fee plus $125 per month across the same eleven-month window; the full Academy season total is $1,925 from June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027.

Rush offers a multi-child discount on standard registration fees for each younger sibling after the oldest child pays full division price, plus financial assistance for qualifying families who inquire by phone or email. Refunds are prorated when a player cannot finish a season for documented medical reasons, when no team placement occurs, or when a family relocates more than 45 miles away; other withdrawals are not refundable.

Competitive families should expect weekly training, full-season game participation, and reliable communication through the 360Player app used for team updates. Severe weather may delay or cancel individual practices or matches even when the broader season continues.

Rush Soccer network benefits

As a Rush affiliate, Nevada Rush connects Las Vegas families to Rush Select national competition, College Advisory Program guidance, Rush Travel experiences, coach education libraries, and the broader Rush values framework—accountability, respect, unity, tenacity, and enjoyment among them. Rush Soccer’s global footprint spans more than 125 clubs across dozens of countries, but locally the focus stays on structured pathways from early academy years through SWPL and college recruiting support.

Academy registration is a $550 one-time fee plus $125 per month over the same eleven months, totaling $1,925 for the full Academy season from June 2026 through May 2027. Roster spots are limited, so the club expects reliable weekly training attendance and participation in all scheduled games unless unavoidable conflicts arise.
