Programs and age pathways

PRIME organizes players into four development stages that match commitment and skill level. PRIME Kickstart introduces players ages 5 to 8 to soccer through fun, skill-based sessions twice weekly without formal team competition—ideal for beginners building comfort on the ball. PRIME FUNdamentals serves the same age band with structured technical work on first touch, dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, and defending, with Fall and Spring as main competition seasons and Winter and Summer focused on training and optional indoor league play.

PRIME PRE-COMPETITIVE targets motivated players ages 9 to 11 who are ready for a more committed environment. Sessions run two or three times per week for 90 minutes to two hours, with year-round participation, periodic rest breaks, and optional speed, agility, or fitness add-ons. PRIME COMPETITIVE covers ages 12 through 18 with position-specific technical and tactical training, speed and strength work, and psychological preparation for high-level play. Practices run two to three times weekly for up to two and a half hours, training and competition continue year-round, and travel may be required for league and tournament play.

Competitive track record

PRIME teams compete in Southern Nevada leagues and tournaments, with recent success including NPL Nevada State Cup champions at the 13 Boys level and a 2011 boys group that won the 2023 U12 Nevada State Cup. Younger squads have reached Vegas Cup and Junior Cup finals, reflecting a club that builds competitive pathways while keeping development—not trophies alone—at the center of coaching.

Coaching and club philosophy

All PRIME coaches hold at least a USSF E license with two or more years of youth experience; most carry USSF D licenses or higher and many played collegiately or professionally. The club hires for teaching ability and player development rather than playing résumé alone, and coaches emphasize process over short-term results during the golden years of youth development. Training sessions are planned to maximize touches, minimize standing in lines, and create a positive environment where players learn without fear. Supplemental technical, speed, agility, and conditioning work is available, along with dedicated goalkeeper coaching and clinics.

Training locations

Teams train and play across City of Henderson and City of Las Vegas park fields, including Heritage Park, Acacia Park, Anthem Hills Park, Reunion Trails Park, Aventura Park, and other lighted complexes in the valley. Local league games and tournaments stay in the Las Vegas and Henderson area for most age groups, with older competitive teams traveling as schedules require.

Tryouts and how to join

2026–2027 tryouts are free and open to players born 2008 through 2022. Sessions begin May 26 at Heritage Park in Henderson, with additional dates May 27 and May 30; age-specific times and field assignments are shared by email before evaluations. Families register online through the club registration system—create a family account, add each player, select the tryout program, and complete checkout at $0 to confirm a spot.

Players age 10 and under can also schedule open training sessions outside formal tryout windows to observe a live team environment. Families considering a club change for older players should contact the club directly about open training eligibility.
