Recreational programs

The recreational division welcomes players from U4 through U18 in a low-pressure environment focused on outdoor activity, basic ball skills, social growth, and teamwork—not league standings or goal totals. Spring registration typically opens in late October and closes in mid-February (with a waitlist window through late February); fall registration opens in late May and closes in mid-July (with waitlisting through late July). Practices usually begin in late March for spring and late August for fall, with Saturday league games at College of Western Idaho for U10 and younger and for U11+ home fixtures; older rec teams may travel locally within the valley for away matches.

Recreational registration fees vary by age band and do not include uniforms ordered separately through Tursi Soccer (about $69.50 plus tax for the standard red/white jersey, shorts, and sock package). Published 2025–26 examples include $85 for U4–U6, $105 for U7–U10, and $135 for U11 through U18. Volunteer parent coaches complete background checks, online coaching basics, and concussion awareness training.

Competitive programs

The competitive track is built for aspiring players who want more training time, coach-led roster decisions, and regular matches against other Treasure Valley clubs in Idaho Youth Soccer Association competition. The competitive calendar runs fall through spring: June spring tryouts and team formation, July training blocks and fall practices, August–November fall league play with tournaments, December–February indoor or futsal and skills work, late-February spring practices, and March–May spring league play.

U9 Academy covers fall and spring registration at $500 plus a uniform package of about $196.50 plus tax (black, red, and gray tops/shorts/socks). U10–U19 competitive registration is $800 for the fall-and-spring cycle with the same uniform bundle. Home games are at McDonagh Park; practices are typically two to three times per week for about one to two hours, also at McDonagh Park. Competitive coaches hold licenses, pass background checks, and complete concussion awareness training.

Tryouts and registration timing

For the 2026–27 cycle, the club calendar highlights competitive tryouts June 8–10, regular registration through June, a $25 late fee after July 1, and final registration closure July 31, with refunds available through August 1. Families register through GotSport links tied to each program. An early-bird $5 discount may apply during the May registration window before standard June pricing.

Uniforms and game-day expectations

All players need NPSC socks over shin guards, club shorts, both red and white jerseys where required, and cleats (required U7+ in rec). Jewelry is not permitted in games. Competitive players must wear the full IYSA-compliant kit; compression layers should match uniform colors. Uniforms ship from Tursi Soccer— the club does not stock kits on site.

Leadership and community roles

NPSC is run by a volunteer board and coordinators covering competitive and recreational directors of coaching, registrars, fields, referees, scholarships, photography, and events. Families can volunteer for board roles or coaching through the Get Involved section when openings are posted.
