Programs and age groups

PFC fields competitive travel teams for boys and girls from U8 through U16. Coaches evaluate skill, coachability, and commitment during annual tryouts to place athletes on age-appropriate rosters. Each team trains in a supportive yet competitive environment built around travel league play, tournament weekends, and steady skill development.

The PFC PeeWee program introduces younger players to club soccer through seven-week seasonal training blocks. Sessions emphasize good sportsmanship, equal playing time, balanced teams, and positive coaching in a safe setting where kids can run, kick, and play with friends while parents and siblings cheer from the sidelines. PeeWee registration runs through GotSport.

Families who are not currently committed to another Idaho state club, missed the main tryout window, or are relocating to the Idaho Falls area can request an individualized evaluation to explore open roster spots on competitive teams.

Competitive pathway and travel

PFC teams compete at the competitive level from an early age through high school-aged groups. Squads travel within Idaho and outside the state to face top regional competition, with club leadership aiming to build a program that can succeed in State Cup and other higher-level events. The club is one of the fastest-growing youth soccer organizations on eastern Idaho’s soccer landscape.

Beyond league seasons, PFC hosts special events such as the Little KingsNQueens coed tournament—a bracketed coed event inspired by Kings League-style rules with PFC’s own twist. Players register individually and are drafted onto teams guaranteed multiple games across age brackets spanning birth years 2010 through 2015.

Coaching, values, and community

PFC is run entirely by certified coaches and volunteers who prioritize player growth on and off the field. The club develops athletes who excel in competition while building character, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Leadership emphasizes continuous improvement in training environments for players, coaches, and the broader club community.

The club embraces diversity and welcomes athletes from all backgrounds. While a large share of players come from the Hispanic community, PFC’s culture centers on passion for the ball and commitment to the game. Scholarships and financial assistance are available for families in need, reflecting a mission to keep competitive soccer accessible and inclusive.

Tryouts and registration

Annual tryouts determine team placements for the competitive travel program. Players pre-register through GotSport before attending evaluations. After tryouts, selected athletes receive a registration link by email to complete enrollment; families who went through a post-tryout evaluation follow the same process once offered a roster spot.

PeeWee players register separately through GotSport for each seven-week training season. Competitive families with questions about mid-season placement should contact the club directly to schedule an evaluation.
